Two piece metalcore band from Albany, Western Australia. Bob McGonnell and Davin Tranter formed A Sight in Veracity in early 2019. Being first cousins with similar tastes, Bob and Davin have had lots of experience working together on numerous projects in the past. Throughout 2019 and the beginning of 2020, hours of work was invested into recording and producing their debut EP, Heaven Hold Me.

In 2021, A Sight in Veracity dropped their first full-length album, ‘We Did Things Differently’. In comparison to their previous EP, this record is more of an emotional journey. The songs are sequences to tell more of a story. From track 1 to track 9 is an experience of ever changing moods and expressions. The lyrical content is relatable to many. Regret, insecurities, loneliness, losing somebody you love. ‘We Did Things Differently’ touches upon all of these things.

A Sight in Veracity are currently releasing additional content accompanying the release of their latest record. The band has embarked on writing music for their next album.

Merci Déhà for the download code. Lots of bands use these ingredients – pretty female vocals over doomy guitars always sounds good, but usually that's where the ideas run out. That isn't the case here. Each song is packed with ideas and evolutions, genres and references it's boring to list but not at all to listen to. A pleasure to have been introduced to this. Luke

I'll admit, at first I didn't think the vocals worked that well with the music, but for some reason they've grown on me. There's something really interesting about the dreaminess of the voice with the upbeat instrumentation. Plushie Fanatic
